Thrift+

Updated a month ago

What is Thrift+?

Thrift+ is a donation and resale service for second-hand branded clothing.

How does it work?

Everything starts by adding a ThriftBag to your order. When you receive it, scan the QR code to create a Thrift+ account, fill the bag with your unwanted clothes and then send it on to Thrift+.

Which Gymshark stores offer Thrift+?

Only the UK for now but keep your eye out for when we bring this in for other stores too – we’re working on it!

How do I get a ThriftBag?

Add a ThriftBag to your Gymshark order. The ThriftBag is free, you’ll just need to pay our normal delivery charges.

How are the funds split?

For every item, Thrift+ will take a listing fee of £3.75. When an item sells for more than £7.50 on Thrift+’s website, they split the proceeds three ways. 35% goes to Thrift+ (minimum fee of £7.50) and the rest gets split 50/50 between you and your chosen charity. You can also choose to donate 100% of your share to your chosen charity instead of earning any Thrift+ credits.

*Please Note, you will only earn Thrift+ Credits on item sales OVER £7.50 *

Full details of Thrift+’s fees can be found here.

How do I return my items to Thrift+?

Thrift+ Bag

SCAN IT - Scan the QR code on your ThriftBag, or visit thrift.plus/register to start.

STUFF IT - Fill your ThriftBag with your unwanted clothes.

SEND IT - Scan the QR code again or visit thrift.plus/return to choose your returns service.

What is my ThriftBag made from?

All of our bags are made of Green PE which is a bio-plastic made from sugar cane. They are recyclable at supermarket drop off bag points. Thrift+ also recycle all ThriftBags that they receive.

Do I have to pay for return postage on my ThriftBag?

The bag has prepaid postage so you can take it to the post office for free. Thrift+ also offers a collection service through DHL if you prefer, you’ll just need to pay a collection fee.

What types of clothing can I donate?

The clothes don’t have to be Gymshark, but they do need to be in good condition. Find out more about what you can and can’t donate (including which brands Thrift+ accepts) here.

Which charities can I donate to?

Thrift+ partners with lots of charities. Find out which ones here.

How do I redeem my voucher credit?

Head to the Thrift+ website to choose which shop you want vouchers for. Once you’ve generated your code through Thrift+, you're good to go. See Thrift+ for a full list of shops (including Gymshark, just saying…) and full terms and conditions. Vouchers codes come in £5, £10, £25, £50 and £100.

* Just note that Gymshark vouchers can only be used once. We don’t want you to be disappointed, so make sure you spend the full voucher amount and double check the total price of your basket before finishing your order. Full T&Cs apply *

Gymshark Voucher Terms and Conditions

  • You can use your Gymshark Voucher online at Gymshark.com as full or part payment on your purchase.

  • If your order exceeds the value of the Voucher, you can pay the remaining balance using a credit or debit card.

  • The Voucher can only be used once – so please use the full value of it, in the transaction otherwise it cannot be used again and any remaining funds on the Voucher will be lost. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, or used towards the purchase of Gymshark gift cards.

  • Your Voucher is valid for 6 months from the date it is issued. After this, it will expire and the remaining amount will be lost.

  • We're really sorry but at the moment transactions can only be made in GBP. All other currencies are unavailable.

  • If your Voucher gets lost, stolen, or damaged, we are unfortunately unable to replace it.
