How do I return my items?

Everything you need to know about returning an item to Gymshark, including free returns and how to get started.

We offer free returns to the following countries:

United Kingdom (mainland), United States, Canada, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Greece, Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Poland, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland.

Return Instructions

  1. Enter your order number (including the # symbol) and your postcode or email address. Make sure these match exactly as shown on your order confirmation.

  2. Select the item(s) you're returning or exchanging and let us know the reason. Note: Items marked 'Final Sale' cannot be returned (Canada and US only).

  3. Choose your return method — you'll also see your nearest drop-off point. Depending on your method, you may need to:

    • Download and print a returns label, or

    • Use a QR code for a printerless return.

  4. For refunds: select your credit option before clicking 'Submit return'.

  5. Attach the returns label to your parcel or show your QR code at the drop-off point, then take your parcel to your chosen location.


Manual Return Instructions

The following countries require a manual return (no portal): Canary Islands, Cyprus, Iceland, and Isle of Man & Gibraltar.

  1. Pack your items securely — ideally using the original packaging — within 30 days of receiving your order.

  2. Clearly write your order number and the return address below on the front of your parcel:

  3. Send your parcel using your chosen courier. Make sure to:

    • Obtain a proof of postage receipt and keep it until your refund has been received.

    • Note that any returns shipping or customs/import fees are your responsibility to cover.

  4. Allow up to 28 days for your parcel to reach us. Once received, we'll process it within 7 days and send you an email notification. Your refund will be issued within a further 7 working days.


Refund Timeframe

  • Processing times vary by country — refer to the list above.

  • You'll receive an email confirmation once your return has been processed.

  • After your return is processed, please allow up to 7 working days for the refund to clear with your bank.


Exchanges

Exchanges are not available for the following locations:

Canary Islands, Cyprus, Hong Kong, Isle of Man & Gibraltar, Jersey & Guernsey, Norway and Switzerland

Norway — Drop off Process

Please note: You can only return up to 2kg in one package. If your return is heavier than this, register and send it in separate shipments.

⚠️ Norway returns use a special postal process — please read all steps carefully before dropping off your parcel. The post office will not scan your barcode, and you will not receive a standard receipt.

  1. Do not ask the post office to scan the barcode — it is only scanned by staff at the parcel centre in Kalmar before being forwarded to our warehouse in Belgium.

  2. Place the package with the other mail to be sent.

  3. As you won't receive a receipt, take a photo of your parcel at the post office as proof of postage and keep it until your refund is confirmed.

  4. Leave the package in the unmanned delivery hatch at the nearest Posten Postkontor (or a free-standing Posten Postboks).

  5. Allow up to 8 working days from the time you drop off your return for it to be processed.


Instore Returns

You can return or exchange items in our retail stores in the country you purchased from.

If You Ordered Online

  • Have your order number ready before visiting the store.

  • You can either:

    • Return via the Returns Portal, or

    • Bring the items directly to one of our stores.

  • If you'd like to exchange in-store and the item is available, you'll receive an e-gift card via email, usable online or in the Gymshark store (you can only use the gift card in the same country you purchased from).

  • If the item isn't in stock, we can:

    • Process a refund to your original payment method, or

    • Issue an e-gift card.

  • For purchases made using both a card and gift card, refunds are applied to the gift card first.

If You Purchased In-Store

  • You'll need a valid receipt to process any return or exchange.

  • If your desired item isn't in stock, we can:

    • Refund to your original payment method, or

    • Issue an e-gift card.

  • If the original payment method isn't available, the refund will be applied to a gift card instead.

  • No receipt? You may still be eligible for an exchange at the manager's discretion.


US- Happy Return Bars

If you're returning via a Happy Returns Bar:

  • Present your QR code to the agent at the bar with the items you wish to return — there's no need to box or print anything.

  • Don't have your QR code? You can show your Happy Returns Express Code, which you'll receive when registering your return.

  • Refunds for returns made at a Happy Returns Bar are processed immediately once your items are dropped off.
